Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen efficiency, and ensuring exceptional food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, experience in food preparation, and a strong understanding of kitchen operations within a restaurant or food industry setting. Duties

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
Cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality.
Assist with meal preparation during busy service hours, supporting the kitchen team as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene
Support the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after shifts
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of shortages or issues
Requirements

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if required
Serving experience is a plus but not essential; a positive attitude towards customer service is important for interacting with guests when needed

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
