Job Description

Colleague Concierge Coordinator


Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is seeking a highly engaged, motivated and dynamic individual to take on the role of Colleauge Concierge Coordinator. Given the unique environment of FJPL, it is critically important that the Heartist journey be cared for in the same manner as the Guest journey. With 90% of our Heartists living and working on property, whether it be with families, a roommate or on their own, it is vital to the recruitment and retention of our property to ensure these individuals are provided with tailored experiences that meet their day to day living needs as well as contribute to driving their overall engagement and well-being.


Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Lifestyle Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service

Provides all Heartists with flawless, proactive and sincere colleague services from an engaged and empowered workforce committed to creating consistent memorable experiences

Acts as ambassador and spokesperson to all Heartists; responding timely and consistently to internal & third party concerns; fielding issues with other departments under the scope of responsibility

Support the development of a meaningful “Heartist Experience Cycle” process that emulates the Guest Experience Cycle within the Resort; ensuring appropriate communication is in place and Heartists feel heart-warmed and welcomed from pre-arrival to post departure

Provides a high level of colleague satisfaction and engagement through effective communication and counseling

Manage all telephone and counter inquiries including but not limited to: guest passes, parking passes, housing queries and activity registration. Acting as staff concierge and first point of contact, directing when needed

Support the Lifestyle manager with event and activity tasks as assigned, including at event functions when necessary

Support and maintain accuracy of the arrival/departure process

Support the pre-arrival communication for the housing/talent acquisition team

Oversee and expand an activities inventory of equipment, with an accountability process for signing in/out

Support the key issuing and tour guiding for new colleagues operation

Build and maintain strong community relationships with local activity providers

Supervise and execute tasks related to postal, shuttle and uniform services

Participate in scheduled rental equipment inspections, advising on any safety or maintenance concerns.

Assist in administrative tasks related to scheduling and assignment of daily tasks

Ensure the colleague concierge area is clean and presentable at all times

Promote safe working practices and proper use of PPE

Foster positive working relationships with colleagues across hotel departments

Record and post all departmental meeting minutes

Verbal and written communication with all hotel colleagues

Maintain and track customer service and quality control results

Order supplies and equipment through the use of internal accounting software as needed

Assist with various other duties of the housing and lifestyle department as required


Qualifications

Qualifications:

Background in Recreation Management/ /Leisure studies

Previous experience in guest service or retail/rentals an asset

Valid Alberta Driver’s License (or ability to obtain within 3 months) required

Must have intensity, enthusiasm and a high energy level

Proven self-starter and able to work unsupervised

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

Ability to coordinate and build a strong core of people who can assist with hosting events

Strong written and oral communication skills

Ability to work well under pressure

Computer experience in Word, Excel, and Publisher and social media saavy
